FROM OUR RECIPE BOX-Petit Coeur Almond Cheesecake

February 8th, 2011 · No Comments · Recipes

Our Petit Coeur Cheesecakes are not too sweet with a hint of almond. There is no crust, just a light coating of breadcrumbs so that the cheese custard releases from the pan. Then we add almond paste for richness and a nutty flavor.

We bake this batter in heart-shaped pans but muffin tins work well, especially those made out of flexible silicone. The cakes cook up quickly and are just the right size to serve at the end of a meal. Serve them with a dollop of cherry pie filling or fresh red berries for a Valentine’s Day dessert, or top with a grating of chocolate.
