Love'n Bake News in a Nutshell

If you enjoy cake shows on TV, why not see one live at this weekend’s Connecticut Cake Competition and show?  It takes place at the Convention Centerin Downtown Hartford, CT February 18th & 19th, 2012. This year’s theme is The Great Outdoors. (Hmm, striped bass made out of marzipan?) Elaborate cake displays, a live decorating challenge, demonstrations and classes round out the 2-day event. (Decorators are coming from all over the country. Some of the top instructors are participating.) Finalists and the winter of Cake Boss: The Next Great Baker are special guests on Sunday.  Sounds like a sweet way to spend the weekend.
